"Addiction" is a term used for any compelling habit in negative sense. It can be mobile addiction, desire to have coffee or tea more then five times in day , serious problem like drugs or smoking addiction etc..
The most dominant thing makes them addictive is not any special found in them. The substance is a harmon secreted in our brain that is "Dopamine".
"Dopamine" is a happy harmon helps us to rid stress, provide pleasure and a reason for being any dish favourite or any task pleasurable. It is found in several researches that the tasks we found pleasurable stimulate our brain realease high amount of "Domine".
Some serious problem like drugs ( caffeine,morphine etc.), nicotine (addictive substance found in cigrate) stimulate our brain to release "Dopamine" in high amount and prevent Dominant to vanish from our brain synapses (inside neurones). Persistence of domamine provides pleaseure for more than hours. This persistence is the only thing that makes them most addictive.

Our mind is a neural structure just like noodles placed inside skull. when evere we think about any thing or when ever we perform anything once. Multiple neurones (micro size nervous of mind) perform a co-ordinated activities of sending and receiving signal due to which we perform any mental exercise like calculation, rotting facts etc. our one time performance makes a weak and temprerary path of co-ordinate signals that can be vainish from our mind easily, via neural path( network of neurones) .
Neurones of neural path are very thin, efficiency of neurones are controlled by myline sheath. Just like makings muscular body by continuous, multiple repetition of weight lifting .myline sheath of nerone becomes efficient by perform any mental works like calculation and recalling facts for multiple number of times. Efficiency of myline sheath makes neural path fast, efficient and after a long run strong or permanent.
